PSIGEN Releases PSI:Capture 4.0

PSIGEN Software, the leader in advanced document capture and scanning solutions, just announced the release of PSI:Capture 4.0.

Some of the key features include: Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), multi-lingual Optical Character Recognition (OCR), auto-redaction on mixed language documents, forms identification, enhanced feature set for the Advanced Data Extraction (ADE) module, and expansion of the number of 3rd party connectors to 49, allowing for easy configuration and migration to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) products.

OpenText RightFax Technical Alert 10822011

Open Text the makers of RightFax has identified a risk for data corruption to occur in OpenText RightFax. The tracking number for this issue is RF-3968.

Systems Affected

  • OpenText RightFax 9.3, including all major service releases and hotfix levels
  • OpenText RightFax 9.4, including all major service releases and hotfix levels

In RightFax—using the Terminal Services client to send multiple print-to-fax jobs simultaneously—fax information from one session may get merged with another if it is interrupted.

Fax information from the interrupted session may be sent to unintended recipients.

This issue is resolved in OpenText official patches
